Responsibilities
Lead business workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design 'to-be' processes within SAP S/4HANA
Translate business requirements into scalable SAP FICO solutions aligned with financial and project accounting best practices
Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA FICO modules with emphasis on Fixed Assets (FI-AA): Chart of Depreciation, Asset Classes, Depreciation Areas and Keys, Asset acquisitions, retirements, transfers, revaluations, Parallel accounting for multiple ledgers and accounting principles, Period-end and year-end asset closing activities
Project Systems (PS): Project Profiles, WBS structures, Networks, and Milestones, Project planning, budgeting, availability control, Cost collection, settlement, and integration with Fixed Assets, End-to-end project lifecycle accounting
Ensure seamless integration between FI-AA, PS, and other SAP modules including MM, SD, and PP
Support cross-functional process flows and financial postings
Prepare detailed functional specifications for WRICEF objects
Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for development, enhancements, and defect resolution
Create test scenarios and scripts; support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
Support data migration activities including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of master and transactional data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA
Validate migrated data for accuracy and completeness
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents and change requests
Prepare end-user documentation and conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions
Configure and utilize SAP Fiori applications related to Fixed Assets and Project Systems to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support projects
Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly Fixed Assets (FI-AA) and Project Systems (PS)
Solid understanding of financial accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) and asset lifecycle and project cost management processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proven ability to lead workshops and engage senior stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with S/4HANA innovations such as Business Partners, Parallel Ledgers, and Central Finance is highly desirable
SAP S/4HANA FICO Certification is preferred
