The role involves overseeing a portfolio of multifamily loans, monitoring performance, assessing risk, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective management of assets.

Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of performing and watchlist multifamily loans within a large bridge/mezzanine lending platform

Monitor asset and borrower performance, including covenant compliance, financial reporting, risk ratings, and operating trends

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external parties

Identify emerging risks, credit weaknesses, or performance issues—and collaborate with borrowers, property managers, and internal teams to create solutions

Develop action plans and recommendations for underperforming assets for senior leadership review

Review financial statements, gather operating data, and complete detailed analysis to assess loan and property performance

Conduct or oversee property site inspections as needed

Support routine borrower consent requests across the assigned portfolio

Prepare periodic reporting for internal teams, co-investors, warehouse providers, and industry groups

Coordinate with cross-functional partners including Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Loan Servicing

Participate in special projects and assist leadership with strategic initiatives
