Responsibilities
Modify existing mechanical designs using SolidWorks
Update engineering drawings, revisions, and documentation
Apply Design Control principles throughout product development
Work on products with mechanical mechanisms and moving parts (springs, collapsible features, etc.)
Support design changes based on testing and validation feedback
Qualification
Required
3+ years of mechanical design experience
Strong SolidWorks skills
Experience with plastic parts and mechanical assemblies
Solid understanding of engineering drawings and revision control
Knowledge of Design Controls
Preferred
Medical device experience and ISO 13485 knowledge
Experience in other regulated industries (aerospace, defense, etc.)
