Responsibilities
Maintaining safe work practices, life-saving rules, site-specific policies, and conformance to OSHA and EPA regulations in all plant activities
Conducting and documenting safety orientations for new hires and subcontractors
Implementing and servicing behavior-based safety with a focus on risk communication and procedure enactment to minimize risk
Participating in monthly safety committee meetings to enhance safety culture
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for Environmental, Health, and Safety
Bring a minimum of 1 year experience as a safety instructor in a classroom or e-based setting
Possess proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Classroom/onboarding training experience is preferred
