Golf Shop Lead

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Lead Golf Shop Attendant to join their team at Omni PGA Frisco Resort, which is situated near the PGA of America headquarters. The role involves providing exceptional service to golf shop guests and maintaining the golf shop to ensure a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Enthusiastic greeting of customers (by name if possible)
Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels and the PGA of America
Working knowledge of operation (46 holes, practice facility, etc.)
Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required
Perform duties and meet requirements for sales, rentals, tournament golf leagues, and services which the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and Assistant Professionals deems necessary
Book starting reservations
Promote the interests of the resort in providing service to the guest
Assist in presentation of golf shop
Assist Merchandise Manager with any inventory counts
Maintain and balance daily cash register
Provide a customer friendly environment
Ability to answer any questions related to resort
Handle registration of players
Update tee time information details for all daily tee times and future tee times with an emphasis on the upcoming 2 operating days
Update and confirm all Resort Golf Package tee times are correctly reserved and billing is correctly arranged
Assist with confirming all tee time reservations
Manage supply and store inventory
Relay and act upon member and guest feedback as needed

Required

Knowledge of the game of golf

Ability to assist with training and onboarding of new associates

Must be able to work a rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, AM/PM Shifts
