Responsibilities
Lead clinical strategy across all stages of development—from IND through late-phase
Oversee clinical trial design, execution, data interpretation, and regulatory interactions
Build and lead a high-performing clinical team
Serve as a key medical voice in cross-functional leadership, working closely with R&D, regulatory, and executive teams
Represent the company in regulatory meetings, at scientific conferences, and with KOLs
Qualification
Required
MD or MD/PhD with board certification or deep clinical expertise in metabolism, cardio, endocrinology, or hepatology
Significant experience in clinical development leadership roles, ideally at the VP/SVP level
Proven track record in trial design, regulatory strategy, and cross-functional collaboration
Experience in early- to late-phase development within relevant therapeutic areas
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on biotech environment
