Mid LevelR&R Human Resources Solutions is a boutique CPA firm located in Northbrook seeking a Part-Time Seasonal Tax Accountant to prepare various income tax returns during the 2026 tax season. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional looking for flexible, part-time work with a weekly commitment of 15 -20 hours.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, and 1120S, as well as applicable state returns
Analyze financial data and ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws
Communicate with clients to request information and clarify tax-related questions
Collaborate with internal staff to meet all tax season deadlines
Maintain organized and complete tax files and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Prior experience in public accounting required
Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Experience with professional tax preparation software
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines during peak tax season
Preferred
CPA license preferred
