Responsibilities
Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger records
Manage accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment support
Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities
Reconcile bank accounts, cash balances, and online donation activity
Collaborate with Development, HR, and external partners to ensure financial accuracy
Support system improvements, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and GAAP
Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
Experience working with accounting software and payment platforms
Highly organized, collaborative, and effective communicator
Preferred
Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana
