Business Development Representative (Inside Sales)

Capital Equipment Solutions is a specialized B2B company focused on industrial equipment sales and technical services. The Business Development Representative will identify sales opportunities, develop customer relationships, and support deals from outreach to negotiation and close.

Responsibilities

Conduct outbound outreach to prospective customers to identify and develop sales opportunities
Manage inbound sales inquiries and qualify customer needs
Prepare and distribute quotes, equipment information, and supporting sales materials
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to advance opportunities toward close
Research and proactively contact companies not currently in our database
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships across all levels of an organization
Participate in sales negotiations alongside CES management and leadership
Assist with drafting contracts and supporting deal close activities
Accurately track leads, communications, quotes, and opportunities in HubSport CRM
Collaborate closely with internal sales, operations, and technical teams
Develop strong working knowledge of industrial equipment, services, and market dynamics
Travel occasionally to customer sites, plant inspections, or trade shows (less than 15% annually)

Required

Previous sales experience, preferably in B2B or inside sales
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging decision-makers professionally
Ability to communicate confidently with senior executives and stakeholders
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex opportunities
Motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus)
