Human Resources Director
LHH is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions including talent management, employee relations, and compliance. The HRD will oversee payroll administration and ensure alignment with organizational policies while advising senior leadership on workforce planning and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement
Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations
Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll accounts and manage reporting requirements
Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy
Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness
Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Manage investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as needed
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and compliance regulations
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP)
Preferred
SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
Experience in multi-state payroll and complex organizational structures
