Responsibilities
Review business and technical requirements to ensure testability and completeness
Design, develop, and execute manual and/or automated test cases
Perform various types of testing including:
Functional testing
Regression testing
Integration testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Smoke and sanity testing
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
Validate fixes and ensure defects are resolved before release
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and best practices
Support release activities and post-deployment verification
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
Knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
Experience testing web-based and/or mobile applications
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
QA certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus
