Chief Product and Technology Officer
FacilityForce is seeking a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of the company's product and technology organization. The CPTO will oversee product vision, software development, quality assurance, DevOps, and technical support services, ensuring technology investments deliver customer value and operational stability.

Responsibilities
Define and own the product and technology vision in partnership with the General Manager
Establish and maintain a clear, outcome-driven product roadmap aligned to customer needs and business goals
Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform evolution, including modernization and technical debt management
Ensure product decisions are informed by market insight, customer feedback, and support data
Provide executive oversight of software development, QA, DevOps, and technical support through the Director of Development & Customer Operations
Set expectations for engineering excellence, delivery discipline, and operational reliability
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable, with clear architectural direction
Hold teams accountable for delivery commitments, quality standards, and operational performance
Partner closely with the Architect to ensure architectural decisions support business strategy and future growth
Maintain a coherent platform strategy that balances innovation with stability and risk management
Establish and enforce technical standards, integration patterns, and data integrity principles
Ensure quality is embedded across the product lifecycle, not isolated to QA functions
Oversee DevOps practices that enable predictable releases, high availability, and rapid recovery
Ensure technical support services deliver timely resolution, strong customer experience, and actionable feedback into product and engineering teams
Drive continuous reduction of defects, incidents, and repeat customer issues
Build, mentor, and retain strong leaders across product, architecture, and engineering operations
Create clarity around decision rights, accountability, and operating cadence
Foster a culture of ownership, pragmatic problem-solving, and continuous improvement
Develop succession depth and leadership maturity across the organization
Serve as a trusted thought partner to the General Manager on strategy, tradeoffs, and execution risks
Translate technical complexity into clear business implications for executive and board-level discussions
Establish lightweight governance that supports speed while ensuring security, compliance, and operational discipline
Own technology investment prioritization and ROI accountability
Qualification
Required
Senior leadership experience owning both product and technology in a software or SaaS organization
Proven ability to lead through a layered organization with strong directors and domain leaders
Deep understanding of software architecture, modern delivery practices, and operational technology
Experience overseeing customer-facing technical support and closing the loop between support, product, and engineering
Strong executive communication and decision-making skills
Preferred
Strategic, systems-oriented thinker with a bias toward outcomes
Comfortable operating in close partnership with a GM and making tradeoffs in real time
Calm, decisive, and accountable under pressure
Customer-centric and commercially aware
Builds trust through clarity, consistency, and follow-through
