They are seeking an Electronic Security Technician to configure and prototype systems while also providing installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer education at various locations.

Responsibilities
Install, terminate, test, and commission security electronics equipment, including, access control systems, analog and IP video systems, intelligent locking systems, network switches, audio communications systems and PLC-based touchscreen control systems
Configure IP cameras, VMS systems and Access Control Systems
Install raceway and cable
Assist and work with other electronic technicians, engineers and subcontractors
Perform maintenance/service on installed equipment at customer facilities
Be willing and able to learn new systems, technologies and products
Ability to be adaptable, flexible and work well in a team setting
Complete assigned projects from start to finish
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma and 2-year technical associates degree (preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office software products
Skilled in working with common hand tools, power tools, multi-meters and cable testing equipment
Previous experience installing security devices such as Card Readers, Cameras, Request to Exit devices and their associated cable/conductors
Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems
Experience configuring security equipment such as IP based Cameras and Video Management Systems
Applicant must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Applicant will be subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Day and overnight travel
Must be able to climb ladders and lift items up to 75lbs
Ability to Commute: Indianapolis, IN 46256 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Indianapolis, IN 46256: Relocate before starting work (Required)
