Responsibilities
Translate demand into executable supply plans and ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time
Place and monitor purchase orders to manufacturers and suppliers in accordance with production needs
Analyze inventory levels across finished goods, raw materials, and packaging
Support day-to-day purchasing while helping build more structured processes, visibility, and cost discipline across the organization
Execute POs for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend
Track pricing, MOQs, lead times, and contract terms
Monitor price changes and identify cost-saving opportunities
Partner cross functionally to ensure sufficient levels of finished goods are available at 3PL for retail fulfillment
Inventory management at the 3PL and ownership of transfers from other warehouses on a regular cadence
Monitor weeks of supply, safety stock, and shelf-life exposure
Communicate with co-packers on material availability
Work with sales partners to understand retailer forecasts, new item launches, and seamless execution at store
Project manage all VAS initiatives at the 3PL, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work
Monitor forecast accuracy and highlight key variances
Qualification
Required
Ability to work in our Chicago office at least 3 days per week
2-5 years of experience in supply chain or finance (CPG exposure preferred)
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (bonus for experience with Monday.com, Cin7)
Authorized to work in the United States
