Informatics Associate (Antibody Discovery)

Responsibilities

Support antibody discovery and library technologies with a focus on Sanger and NGS sequencing
Design and execute backend bioinformatics workflows for antibody discovery pipelines
Independently resolve technical challenges within the informatics group
Use R, Python, and SQL to assess sequencing quality (FASTQ, ABI, FASTA) and prioritize research leads
Act as the technical translator between wet-lab scientists and engineering teams

Required

Master's degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or Molecular Biology (Recent grads welcome) OR a Bachelor's with 2+ years of relevant lab/informatics experience
Proficiency in Python or R is required
A strong understanding of DNA/amino acid processing and NGS platforms (Illumina/PacBio)
