Responsibilities

Develops models and detailed design drawings according to written and verbal specifications

Consults with Engineers and Project Coordinators to resolve design problems

Ensures that dimensions of equipment are accurately reflected in all designs

Create a Bill of Materials based on 3D models

Qualification

3D modelingSolid EdgeComputer DraftingOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

Associate degree or certification in Computer Drafting and Design Technology (or a related field) required

2+ years of professional highly proficient 3D modeling experience required, such as Solid Edge or equivalent software

Demonstrates ability to manage multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail

Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to meet competing deadlines

Must be able to balance working in a collaborative work environment with independently completing work tasks/projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
