Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll
Ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Establishing and maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures
Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Leading, mentoring, and developing a small, high-performing accounting team
Supporting audits and serving as a key liaison with external auditors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure
Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise
Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style
Ability to thrive in a flexible, hybrid work environment
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Nonprofit experience is a plus
