Manager, Project Engineering & Maintenance

Responsibilities
Participate in Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Daily Management meetings to escalate issues, communicate priorities, and ensure cross-functional alignment
Support daily problem-solving and resource allocation discussions in collaboration with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain
Use Visual Project Management tools such as Obeya Rooms and Kanban Boards to track and communicate project progress
Provide timely and structured project updates to Plant Leadership during daily and weekly site leadership meetings
Own and implement a robust Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) system with a focus on: PM Schedule Adherence, MTTR / MTBF, Spare Parts Availability
Improve plant OEE by reducing unplanned downtime and improving equipment startup and changeover performance
Ensure CMMS is updated and used to track PM completion, breakdown root cause, and long-term corrective actions
Lead reliability improvement and productivity projects using: Tooling and fixturing improvements, Custom fabrication, Test Stand optimization, Equipment upgrades and refurbishment
Develop project plans with clear deliverables, milestones, risk plans, and budget controls
Track and report Project Milestone On-Time Delivery and Productivity (CAPEX) Spend monthly
Oversee or support facilities upgrades, layout changes, and SIOR projects
Collaborate with external contractors, equipment integrators, and vendors for capital installations, automation integration, and facilities enhancements
Ensure safe execution of all vendor and contractor activity in compliance with EHS protocols
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or engineering leadership
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of demonstrated technical experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fiberoptic systems
Proficiency with CMMS, CAD, and exposure to PLC logic and industrial controls
Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in a manufacturing environment
Strong written and verbal communication; able to present plans and progress to senior leadership
Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
Preferred
TPM implementation experience
Project Management Experience
Experience with automation systems, integrator/vendor management
Hands-on fabrication, machining, or controls engineering background
Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and standards
Experience supervising and coaching Engineers, Maintenance technicians, and Machinists
