Responsibilities
Lead and influence multiple technology initiatives centered on distributed microservices and full-stack systems
Actively contribute across several codebases to enhance system performance, reliability, compliance, and business value
Build and evolve shared platforms that empower developers, account teams, partners, and end users
Improve observability for mission-critical transactions, define service-level objectives (SLOs), and help manage error budgets
Champion continuous learning by staying current with industry trends, exploring emerging technologies, and engaging with internal and external engineering communities
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance, including hands-on coding or code reviews as needed
Partner closely with digital product leaders to deliver resilient, cloud-native solutions that create meaningful, large-scale customer impact
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
6+ years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships)
At least 1 year of experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Preferred
Master's degree in a technical field
9+ years of experience with Node.js, Go, Python, or similar backend technologies
3+ years of hands-on experience building solutions on AWS
Strong background in securing, tuning, and scaling internet-facing microservices
Experience participating in on-call rotations supporting large-scale, production systems
