Responsibilities
Research, develop, program, and manage GIS tools, applications, and user interfaces
Develop, maintain, and support spatial data systems, including related hardware and software
Create and present GIS systems and cartographic mapping elements for internal, marketing, and web-based use
Integrate GIS elements with other technologies to support data visualization and communication
Convert complex data from records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, demographic models, and other source documents into GIS databases
Produce maps and provide web-based mapping support for internal stakeholders
Develop and maintain spatial and non-spatial databases
Provide technical GIS support to internal users while adhering to established GIS policies, procedures, and standards
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS data across systems
Qualification
Required
Educational background or certification in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field
0–2 years of professional experience in a GIS or related technical role
Hands-on experience with GIS software such as ESRI, AutoDesk, Bentley, Integraph, or similar platforms
Solid understanding of geographic concepts and spatial data principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Working knowledge of computer systems, database software, and technical applications
Preferred
Strong preference for experience with ArcGIS Pro
