Responsibilities
Lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process, collaborating with various departments on improvement projects and defining the budget for the following year
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flows, and balance sheets. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the financial data
Manage cash flow effectively to ensure the company's financial stability
Implement efficient expense management strategies, including utilizing tools like bill.com and credit card expense management tools
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring favorable terms, leveraging discounts, comparing prices, and maintaining contracts
Design and facilitate compensation discussions with doctors, ensuring fair and competitive compensation packages
Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Prepare and present financial reports to various stakeholders, including doctors, banks, and the board of directors
Collaborate with accountants on compliance matters, sales tax, use tax, and end-of-year reporting requirements
Supervise and manage the bookkeeper and collections teams, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience of accounting experience
Excellent time management and organization skills
Great verbal and written communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced PowerPoint and Excel
