VP or Dir of Sales - Fluid Applied Roofing products
Trylak is a company that has developed a best-in-class Fluid Applied Roofing product and is looking for a Sales Leader to drive significant revenue growth over the next five years. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and expanding market share in the roofing and building materials sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts
Mentor, manage, or directly lead a team of sales professionals (scope dependent on level)
Cultivate partnerships with contractors, property managers, and specifiers
Communicate the value of innovative roofing solutions that enhance performance, reduce costs, and extend roof life
Set and achieve ambitious sales goals and pipeline targets
Manage key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Monitor market trends and competitive offerings to identify opportunities
Help shape messaging and positioning to highlight differentiation in the marketplace
Partner with marketing and training teams to develop sales tools, materials, and certifications
Represent the company at trade shows, training programs, and field demonstrations as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven success in sales leadership within roofing, construction, or building materials
Track record of building and scaling distribution channels
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to operate at multiple levels—both as a player-coach and a strategic leader
Preferred
familiarity with fluid-applied roofing systems or other sustainable building products
