The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue in various sectors including construction and property management.

Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial painting projects across targeted industries (property and facility management, retail, healthcare, education, industrial, etc.)
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and strategic partnerships
Track and report sales activity, forecasts, and market trends
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and repeat business
Develop long-term relationships with facility managers, property owners, general contractors, and other decisionmakers. Track client interaction cadence details
Follow up on completed projects to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities
Analyze market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic planning
Collaborate with leadership to develop sales strategies, pricing models, and marketing initiatives
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations
Organize and host various client networking events
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in business development or sales within commercial painting, construction, or related trades
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build trust quickly and maintain strong professional relationships
Goal oriented, organized and comfortable working independently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Preferred
Strong understanding of the commercial construction process, bidding cycles, and project management basics is preferred
Existing network within commercial real estate, construction, or facilities management is a plus
Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management is preferred
