Associate | Financial Planning & Analysis
Healthcare Funding Partners (HFP) operates at the intersection of insurance, technology, and finance, supporting a nationwide distribution ecosystem. They are seeking an Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis to support the CFO, COO, Controller, and business unit leaders by building financial models and providing insights that drive strategy.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain forecasting models for revenue, expenses, cash flow, and unit economics across multiple operating entities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles
Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and cohort analysis for strategic initiatives and acquisition modeling
Assist with the annual operating plan and department-level budgets
Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and KPI dashboards
Track metrics such as agent performance, call center efficiency, policy retention, marketing ROI, and operating margins
Build business cases for new initiatives, hiring plans, geographic expansion, and partnership opportunities
Support financial due diligence for acquisitions and the integration of newly acquired entities
Partner with Operations, Marketing, and Technology to understand cost drivers and growth levers across the distribution ecosystem
Work closely with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accuracy and consistency across entities
Collaborate with the COO and business unit leadership to provide insight into performance trends
Present clear, concise recommendations to executive leadership
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong Excel modeling skills (dynamic models, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivots, sensitivity analysis)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Strong communication skills; able to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a high-growth, evolving organization with multiple operating entities
Preferred
Experience with SQL, BI tools, Python/R, or advanced reporting tools is a plus
