Vice President of Business Development - Alternative Valuation Products
Opteon is seeking strategic and growth-oriented VP of Business Development team members to drive initiatives in the either conventional appraisal and/or alternative valuation products space. This role is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving revenue expansion through innovative business development strategies.

Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive revenue growth by acquiring new high-value customers, fostering strategic partnerships, to maximize revenue potential for Opteon
Lead Generation and Account Development: collaborate in lead generation initiatives, oversee the conversion of leads into valuable clients, and steer customer onboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions, aligning with client objectives and driving continuous growth
Appraisal and Alternative Products Strategy: Assist in the development of and execute business development strategies focused on valuation products and services, identifying emerging trends and aligning offerings with market demand
Strategic Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, understanding their evolving needs, preferences, and revenue opportunities to enhance loyalty and drive sustained business growth
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse client segments, leveraging industry insights and competitive intelligence to drive growth
Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align sales strategies, monitor customer engagement, and foster a culture of collaboration that drives Opteon’s overall success
CRM Utilization: Oversee the accurate and timely utilization of Opteon's CRM platform to track and analyze customer interactions, sales performance, and revenue opportunities effectively, leveraging data insights for informed decision-making and enhancing sales effectiveness
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the valuation or real estate industry
Proven success in launching and scaling alternative products or services
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and influencing skills
Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations teams
Preferred
Experience with CRM platforms and sales enablement technologies (HubSpot preferred)
Established network of decision-makers in the alternative products space highly preferred
