Regional Technical Sales Manager

Mikron Tool is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region to strengthen their sales team in the US market. The role involves developing the sales market, promoting and selling carbide cutting tools, and providing technical advice to customers and sales partners.

Responsibilities

Take care and develop our sales market in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Eastern New York, Eastern Maryland, and Delaware
Promote and sell Standard and Special Carbide cutting tools for our company in assigned states
Visit regularly existing and new customers and sales partner
Train Sales partners in place on Mikron Tool products, organization of training seminars
Provide technical advice to all customers and sales partners
Find new customers in the assigned areas and product fields
Quote Special and Standard Tools
Interface with Mikron Tool for technical questions and problem solving
Use CRM system for trip planning and reporting

Required

Experience in cutting tool technology with expert knowledge in metallurgy, metal alloys and carbide on machining processes (drilling, milling, reaming, deburring)
Able to read technical drawings and to sketch ideas and concepts
Minimum of 3+ years in similar industrial sales roles
Mechanical education, emphasis on mechanical engineering
Systematic and analytical thinking
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication & sales skills to present company, products and technology
Languages: English
Willingness to travel – 80% Travel Expectation
Must be living in or willing to relocate to the Eastern portion of Pennsylvania (East of I-81) or in New Jersey
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have a valid state driver license
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally at times with short notice
