Start in 2026 SummerThe Vollrath Company is seeking a Finance Intern for Summer 2026 to support their finance department while gaining practical experience in financial modeling, reporting, and strategic planning. The role involves assisting with financial analysis, data management, market research, and collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual and Forecast vs. Actual)
Clean and organize large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings. Implement and test reporting using Tableau
Conduct industry research and peer benchmarking to support strategic investment decisions or competitive positioning
Support the team in developing rolling forecasts and long-term financial models
Take ownership of a "Capstone Project" to be presented to senior leadership at the end of the summer
Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Sales and Marketing to ensure financial data accuracy
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred)
Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic data modeling)
Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to team members
A high degree of integrity, a positive attitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Junior or Senior standing preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) or BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) is a plus
