Aircraft Avionics Technician

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join their team as an Aircraft Avionics Technician in the Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft avionics systems and components.

Air Transportation

Responsibilities

Complete routine and non-routine maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace aircraft communication, navigational and electrical equipment
Complete functional testing and inspections of the avionics on our fleet

Required

Associates degree specializing in electronics and avionics systems or a minimum of two years of experience working with aircraft electronics and avionics systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Employment is contingent upon a valid driver's license and clear driving record
10-year Criminal History Records Check
Drug screen as required
Proof of high school or GED completion
Minimum 18 years of age

Preferred

Experience in mechanical operations
Valid Airframe and Powerplant certificate
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Certificate
