Responsibilities

Prepare new drawings and revise existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts

Support drafting tasks using AutoCAD and MicroStation platforms

Create 2D and 3D models for schematics, layout, and design documentation

Adhere to established drafting standards, ANSI practices, and internal workflows

Assist with documentation and design support for projects across substation and pipeline workstreams

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet deliverables and schedules

Contribute to client communication and coordination, especially when working independently on smaller teams

Support ad hoc tasks or assignments as needed

Qualification

AutoCADMicroStation3D modelingCAD certificationMicrosoft OfficeCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Minimum of Associate's degree in CAD-related field or a specialized CAD certification

2+ years of relevant drafting experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD required; MicroStation experience is a plus

Strong motivation to learn and grow professionally; desire to take on increasing responsibilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an extroverted and collaborative working style

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small, agile team

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Preferred

MicroStation experience is a plus

Exposure to 3D modeling (Plant 3D or similar platforms) is a plus
