Responsibilities
Generate requisitions and manage purchase orders (POs) across all PharmSci business lines
Review requisitions and associated documentation for completeness; raise POs, request approvals, and resolve discrepancies
Coordinate with PharmSci teams, Procurement, Finance, and vendors to ensure seamless P2P execution
Manage PO-related documents including quotes and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring proper approvals and attachments
Assist in new vendor setup and maintenance of existing vendors in Ariba
Extend, amend, or close purchase orders as required
Review invoices and communicate discrepancies to vendors; partner with Finance and Procurement to resolve issues
Support operational and financial reporting by collecting monthly metrics (POs approved, spend, savings, discrepancies, contractor costs)
Monitor PO spend, identify over- or under-spend risks, and communicate findings to business owners
Qualification
Required
Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously under tight deadlines across global time zones
Excellent written, verbal, listening, and negotiation skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, reporting tools)
Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
3–5 years of relevant experience in a procurement, finance, or P2P-focused role
Preferred
Experience with Ariba Spend Management or similar procurement systems
Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience is a plus
