Responsibilities

Actively advance the energy transition by bringing HVDC projects to a successful completion for our customers
Technically flawless, on-time and economical handling of the commissioning of HVDC systems
Integration test and functional testing of the control and protection systems (C&P) in our test facilities in the Nuremberg area
Preparation and execution of testing procedures and test programs for the converter control, including the necessary verification documentation
Support in quality, risk and claim management
Participation in improvement programs (e.g. Lean, Reviews and Lessons Learned)

Required

Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable training/qualification

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

experience in the commissioning of industrial plants
knowledge in testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK
knowledge/experience in the field of power electronics
knowledge/experience in high-voltage systems
knowledge/experience in automation technology
Class B driver's license desirable
