Responsibilities
Perform detailed financial analysis to support key business decisions
Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting processes
Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted figures and provide actionable insights to management
Support the FP&A team in monthly and quarterly financial reporting
Develop financial models to assess business performance and support strategic initiatives
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial performance with organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a financial analysis or FP&A role
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis
Advanced Excel skills: experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
Experience with Vena and / or Netsuite
CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional certification is a plus
