Responsibilities

Ship customer-facing full-stack product features from concept to production across web, mobile, and backend

Build and deliver polished, end-to-end technology that makes Condoit fast, reliable, and delightful for engineers and field electricians

Speed data ingestion and create ML-assisted automation

Build pipelines and services that turn legacy documentation for complex, multi-variate systems into structured records and update them over time

Apply vision, OCR, and large model techniques where they reduce manual work and increase accuracy, and establish evaluation and feedback loops including labeling, quality metrics, and human-in-the-loop review

Improve reliability, scale, and maintainability

Own reliability for critical workflows with sensible service level objectives, observability, and idempotency/distributed systems design

You won't neglect the docs, tests, and internal tooling that help your coworkers ship safely and maintain robustly

Required

7+ years professional software engineering with a track record of shipping end-to-end product features

Strong product instincts, great written communication, and comfort working directly with customers on-site

Comfortable in TypeScript and modern web or mobile development; comfortable in Python for data and ML workflows

Experience building data-intensive backend services, including cloud-based relational databases such as Postgres, message queues, and object storage

Practical machine learning experience, or a strong track record applying OCR, vision, or large language model tools to real products with measurement and iteration. Learning opportunities available

Curiosity about electrical/engineering/diagramming and fast learning in technical subject matter
