ServiceNow Practice Lead
Norseman Services is an Information Technology professional services company seeking a ServiceNow Practice Lead to support their ServiceNow customers. The role involves providing strategic direction, growth, and delivery excellence for the organization's ServiceNow practice, while engaging with clients to define strategic roadmaps and oversee implementations.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow practice aligned with organizational goals and customer success outcomes
Establish service offerings, delivery methodologies, and governance structures based on the Now Create framework
Lead the creation of go-to-market strategies and value propositions to position the organization as a leader in ServiceNow consulting and delivery
Build and maintain strategic relationships with ServiceNow, ecosystem partners, and key customer stakeholders
Oversee all aspects of ServiceNow solution design and delivery across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, and CMDB
Provide technical oversight and direction to the ServiceNow engineering and development teams
Drive innovation and best practices in automation, integration, and workflow optimization
Collaborate with project managers and technical architects to ensure delivery milestones, scope, and outcomes are met
Define and enforce engineering standards, coding practices, and DevOps pipelines aligned with ServiceNow best practices
Guide technical teams in implementing scalable and secure platform solutions
Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation
Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities and guide their adoption within engineering and delivery teams
Lead the development of proposal responses, statements of work (SOWs), and solution architectures for new opportunities
Partner with business development and sales teams during the pre-sales cycle to define scope, estimates, and delivery approaches
Conduct client demos, platform showcases, and presentations to communicate ServiceNow value propositions
Utilize Now Create assets such as Success Maps, Value Accelerators, and Customer Playbooks to shape client proposals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the ServiceNow footprint across existing and new accounts
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of architects, engineers, analysts, and engagement managers
Define career paths, training plans, and certification objectives to strengthen ServiceNow expertise across the team
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across delivery teams
Oversee resource management and utilization to ensure balanced workloads and optimized delivery capacity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8–10 years of experience in IT Service Management, enterprise transformation, or platform delivery leadership
At least 5 years of hands-on leadership experience with the ServiceNow platform
Proven experience in customer-facing consulting roles, including client engagement, advisory, and executive communication
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve success with multiple, concurrent ServiceNow implementation projects, balancing scope, timeline, and budget constraints
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, cloud services, storage, and data center hardware
Deep expertise with the ServiceNow Now Create framework, including governance, delivery stages, and value realization practices
Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and managing enterprise-scale ServiceNow programs
Experience developing proposals, solution responses, and SOWs for enterprise clients
Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies
Very strong communication skills with the ability to set appropriate expectations with the client
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (one or more domains)
ServiceNow Now Create Fundamentals certification (highly desirable)
ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master certification
