Responsibilities

Engineering characterization, failure analysis - ensuring reliability, performance, & compatibility

Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute validation plans

Building validation hardware and implementing automation to ensure quality standards

Designing and running experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings

Performing testing and validating early silicon against industry specifications

Investigating and resolving issues identified during testing to identify the root cause of failures

Measuring data transfer rates, latency, power consumption, and other parameters

Collaborating with hardware and software teams to resolve validation/performance issues

Required

5+ years of professional experience, background in electrical or computer engineering

Strong background with signal integrity and equalization

Strong experience with one of the following for validation and debugging: PCIe and CXL interfaces, power management/components (PMIC), Memory Systems (DDR2 - DDR5)

Proficiency with Python and C++ programming for test automation, data analysis

Experience with firmware and/or BIOS development is a plus

Understanding of server platform architecture and industry standards

Experience with testing and validation methodologies

Experience with JEDEC specifications
