Responsibilities

Provide expertise in the acquisition, receipt, utilization, inventory, transfer, and disposal of government, commercial and company owned property and materials
Support property management tasks associated with analyzing, researching, and documenting property to ensure authority and accountability legitimacy
Review the contract terms and determine appropriate and approved actions based on the contract details and appropriate FAR provisions
Utilize various databases to capture transactions that are pertinent to maintaining audit trails, and to ensuring financial transactions are complete and correct
Maintain functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Cooperate with internal and external customers to research and develop solutions to a variety of property concerns, utilizing the FAR, DFAR, and other industry standards
Support and participate in the Contractor Self-Assessment, CSA, PMSA requirement and the assurance of proper accountability for property at the Indianapolis site
Develop the audit procedure, reporting, and will be responsible for ensuring completion of the proposed outcomes/resolutions for any identified issues
Ensure the accuracy of the Property and Inventory Management System and will be accountable for property throughout the equipment and material life cycle
Contribute to the completion of the organizations projects and goals by developing, producing, and maintaining inventory management audit, exception and reconciliation documentation in order to validate material process controls
Interact frequently with internal and external customers to resolve issues by understanding and applying knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations as well as industry leading practices, and company policies and procedures

Required

Proven ability to be flexible and adaptive to learning new job responsibilities and tasks within the Property department
2-4 years of progressively responsible experience working with the acquisition, receipt, utilization, tracking, transfer, or disposal of government, commercial, or company owned property and materials
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and a basic understanding of the DoD and other federal agencies doing business with a military contractors
Demonstrated ability to interface and communicate effectively
both written & verbally with a wide variety of internal and external customers, peers and management in order to deliver resolution in assigned areas
Ability to develop innovative solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope using existing policies and procedures as a guideline
Working knowledge of Government Property, Inventory, and Material industry practices and standards
Excellent computer skills are required and consist of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint
Employee must be self-motivated and be able to work independently and may be required to lead a team and/or direct employees
Required to meet schedules and ensure project completion within budget
Superior attention to detail
Will be required to obtain NPMA Property Certification
Ability to execute decision making responsibility with minimal supervision
Working Knowledge of PIEEE, WAWF, IUID and GFP Module
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience
(Bachelor Degree = 6 years of additional applicable experience)
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Preferred

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
Core knowledge of SAP system with the ability to perform research, execute transactions and track material
Inventory & material management experience is a plus
Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) Preferred
