Responsibilities
Design and develop HVAC, plumbing and Fire Protection system for various commercial and industrial buildings
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary drainage, storm water, and natural gas piping, ensuring compliance with applicable codes
Conduct energy modeling and code compliance analysis using EnergyPro
Prepare detailed construction documents and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
Establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines
Collaborate closely with architects, structural and other disciplines throughout all project phases
Write and edit mechanical specifications
Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents
Provide construction contract administration as needed
Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Mechanical Project Engineers, Mechanical Project Coordinators or Mechanical CAD Technicians as needed
