PTS Advance is a company focused on financial services, and they are seeking a Risk Analyst to manage daily P&L and exposure reporting for various commodities. The role involves validating trades, ensuring compliance, and improving reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Produce and validate daily P&L and exposure for multiple commodities (crude, gasoline, distillates, fuel oil, renewables, NGLs)

Break down and explain P&L drivers, market impacts, and risk movements

Verify trade capture accuracy; work with front office and operations to resolve mismatches

Validate pricing inputs and market curves to ensure consistency and correct valuation

Work closely with trading, scheduling, accounting, and risk teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Help automate and standardize reporting; contribute to system enhancements, dashboards, and analytical tools

Maintain strong governance practices and support regulatory requirements

Provide cross-coverage across products/regions and mentor junior analysts

Coordinate with FP&A to ensure MTM P&L is consistent with GAAP reporting

Qualification

Advanced ExcelETRM systemsPower BIPythonSQL

Required

Advanced Excel (must-have)

Proficiency with ETRM systems: SAP, OpenLink/Endur, Allegro, FIS

Power BI familiarity

Python/SQL is a bonus
