Regional Account Manager

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets and profitability goals within assigned territory
Expand market presence through new customer acquisition and introduction of new products to existing accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships across customer organizations, including Purchasing, Operations, and R&D
Conduct regular business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities
Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each key client
Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback through detailed call and monthly reports
Collaborate with internal teams to support product development and innovation based on customer needs
Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed
Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism while traveling throughout the territory

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
At least 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the chemical industry
Demonstrated success in managing B2B accounts and driving sales growth
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel by car, air, or other means as required

Preferred

Experience in the HI&I (Household, Industrial & Institutional), Personal Care, Oilfield Applications sectors
Technical background to complement commercial acumen
