Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
Integrate data from multiple sources using Azure data services
Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and query optimization
Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs
Implement best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
Qualification
Required
Strong experience as a Data Engineer
Hands-on expertise with Azure Synapse Analytics
Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and query optimization
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT frameworks
Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL
Ability to work independently in a remote C2C engagement
Preferred
Experience with Power BI or other Microsoft BI tools
Exposure to big data technologies within Azure
Prior experience with enterprise-scale data platforms
