The role involves designing and processing approval prints, providing support to Customer Account Representatives, and coordinating with manufacturing to implement product design changes.

Responsibilities

Create extrusion die drawings for customer approval

Re-engineer products with customer feedback for enhanced reliability and consistency in extrusions

Confirm receipt of approval prints with the customer

Create initial drawings for quotation

Modify existing customer drawings

Use calipers, micrometers, and other equipment to create drawings from samples

Interpret manufacturing needs and concerns and discussing with the customer

Produce drawing for prospect quotations

Performs other duties as required

Qualification

Required

CAD/Drafting Diploma, Training and/or Certification or equivalent industry experience

Knowledge of mechanical drafting and principles

3+ years Auto-CAD/ drawing experience

Excellent analytical problem-solving skills

Results-oriented and customer-focused

Motivated self-starter who can manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision

Preferred

Aluminum extrusion experience

5+ years AutoCAD experience

Inventor/Solidworks experience
