The Artificial Intelligence Summer intern will support the Commercial team by researching AI trends and identifying use cases to enhance business processes related to obesity therapies.

Responsibilities

Research AI trends, tools, and technologies relevant to commercializing a future obesity pharmaceutical medication

Identify potential use cases for AI that could improve efficiency, decision-making, or customer experience

Collaborate with the Commercial, Corporate Strategy, and other cross-functional teams to understand business processes and pain points

Support the Commercial team with AI perspectives to enhance current and future business initiatives or processes

Develop small-scale prototypes or simulations to demonstrate feasibility for possible AI applications

Prepare final report and presentation summarizing findings and recommendations for leadership

Qualification

Required

Strong interest in AI, machine learning, emerging technologies, and life sciences

Basic programming skills (Python preferred) and familiarity with machine learning concepts

Inquisitive, curious and driven

A compelling communicator, in person and in writing

A demonstrated interest in life sciences and genuine compassion for people living with obesity

Preferred

Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus

Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools

Understanding of business strategy and process improvement
