They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support high-volume invoice processing, payment accuracy, and month-end accounting for supplier deliveries across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

Review high-volume supplier invoices and payables for accuracy and contract compliance
Research and resolve vendor inquiries, payment discrepancies, and store-related issues
Prepare month-end journal entries and assist with year-end close requirements
Analyze large data sets to identify irregularities, root causes, and financial impacts
Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, and other internal teams to streamline processes
Support systematic payment enhancement projects planned for 2026
Communicate professionally with vendors and internal partners across multiple regions

Qualification

Required

5+ years of accounting experience, including journal entry preparation and financial analysis
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and data manipulation
Experience working within a large ERP environment (Oracle, SAP, or Dynamics preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data issues
Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
Professional communication style and the ability to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
Comfortable working independently within a decentralized, multi-location team
