ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to cut and join metals and other materials at their facilities. The role involves operating equipment with precision and requires knowledge of different metals and their properties, as well as CAD design skills for Solidworks.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures

Determine the appropriate tooling and forming methods based on drawing requirements

Set up machines in according to specifications

Misc manufacturing processes. Package, Countersink, Time Save, deburr, Daily machine P.M

Align components using calipers, rulers, clamp pieces, etc

Assemble fabricated components

Repair machinery and other components as needed

CAD design (Solidworks) as needed

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Required

Proven working experience as CNC Laser Operator, CNC Brake Operator, & CAD (Solidworks) – 5 years

Experience using a variety CNC fabrication equipment. Setup and calculation of bend deduction and part adjustments for material compensation

Experience adjusting CNC Laser/Brakes. Nest and sheet utilization

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Use measuring equipment. (Calipers & Tape measures)

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing

Deftness and attention to detail

Stand for long periods of time 6 – 8 hours a day

Lift-up to 50-80 lbs

Able to obtain a forklift certification

Team Player and ability to work overtime when required
