Teamcenter Administrator / Teamcenter Cloud & Upgrade Specialist

Responsibilities

Install and configure Teamcenter and its integrations in cloud environments according to defined migration plans
Install and configure Teamcenter components as part of upgrade initiatives
Execute Teamcenter upgrade activities, including applying patches, hotfixes, and major releases
Support bulk data migration from on-premises environments to the cloud while ensuring data integrity
Perform comprehensive testing of deployed solutions, including:
Workflows
Configurations
Integrations
Identify issues during Teamcenter cloud migration and upgrades, propose solutions, and implement fixes
Diagnose and resolve:
System and application errors
Performance issues
Data integrity anomalies
Using logs and monitoring tools
Continuously monitor application and database performance and optimize configurations for efficiency
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including:
System configurations
Processes and procedures
Act as a key liaison with:
Siemens GTAC support
Internal IT teams (network, database, infrastructure)
Product owners and stakeholders
Lead and mentor the Teamcenter team during cloud migration and upgrade activities

Required

Proven Teamcenter Administration experience, covering:
Teamcenter installation and configuration (2-tier and 4-tier architectures)
BMIDE configuration and customization
Single Sign-On (SSO) and SSL configuration
Teamcenter Active Workspace installation and configuration
Hands-on experience managing Teamcenter environments on Linux and Windows
Installation and configuration of CAD integrations
Installation and configuration of Teamcenter Dispatchers
Strong experience with Teamcenter upgrades, including patches, hotfixes, and major version upgrades
Experience deploying Teamcenter in an IaaS cloud model
Knowledge of Teamcenter Deployment Center
Proficiency in scripting for Teamcenter administration using Shell, Perl, Python, and/or TCL
Install and configure Teamcenter and its integrations in cloud environments according to defined migration plans
Install and configure Teamcenter components as part of upgrade initiatives
Execute Teamcenter upgrade activities, including applying patches, hotfixes, and major releases
Support bulk data migration from on-premises environments to the cloud while ensuring data integrity
Perform comprehensive testing of deployed solutions, including workflows, configurations, and integrations
Identify issues during Teamcenter cloud migration and upgrades, propose solutions, and implement fixes

Preferred

Experience working in large-scale enterprise PLM environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams
