Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical contact for the production floor, working closely with operators, technicians, and supervisors
Translate new product designs and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into actionable manufacturing plans and requirements
Provide feedback to the Design Engineering team to enhance manufacturability
Deliver hands-on technical support to production lines, resolving assembly, test, and process issues to minimize downtime
Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, determining appropriate actions for non-conforming assemblies
Design, implement, and maintain custom fixtures and test equipment for production
Develop, write, and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions for new and existing product assemblies
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze and improve production processes, focusing on cycle time, cost, and first-pass yield
Work directly with the Quality team to establish in-process inspection points and quality control checks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
4+ years of experience in a technical role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics assembly
Strong foundation in electronics theory; ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and component datasheets
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma)
