Responsibilities
Develop extensive market knowledge and a deep understanding of the assigned spend areas
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to extract key themes, determine root causes, develop creative solutions, and craft concise messages
Collaborate with internal business partners, both clinical and technical, to understand demand and supplier trends. Builds effective relationships, influences peers and key stakeholders, and able to build consensus
Manage supplier relationships including developing supplier performance (KPIs), capability development, cost and quality improvements for key suppliers and product categories
Identify and document supplier risk items to develop mitigation strategies and plans
Monitor compliance with DaVita’s product formularies and ensure contract terms are being met
Ability to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant SC/Procurement experience, or an MBA with background in contract analysis and negotiation
Experience in Finance, Operations and similar functions is applicable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously
Experience leading & executing RFPs and competitive bidding processes
Excellent computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint & Word, ability to operate Tableau

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position
Preferred
CPSM or equivalent Supply Chain certifications are a plus
