Responsibilities
Maintain and analyze standard cost systems for manufacturing operations
Track and report on project costs, including labor, materials, and overhead
Partner with operations to monitor variances and recommend corrective actions
Perform cost roll-ups, margin analysis, and inventory valuation
Support month-end close with cost accounting entries and analysis
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Collaborate with the Controller and CFO on strategic cost initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and GAAP
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)
3+ years of relevant experience in standard cost accounting and project cost accounting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred
