Responsibilities

Analyze business challenges and opportunities; provide data-driven strategic or tactical recommendations

Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Lines of Business to improve data controls and processes

Apply strong analytic orientation and quantitative skills for decision-making and problem-solving

Communicate clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally; influence and negotiate with stakeholders

Maintain a strong results orientation, driving projects in dynamic, fluid environments

Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting; consulting experience is a plus

Build dashboards and analytics using SQL and Python; work with databases (Postgres, Oracle, Cassandra, MySQL, DynamoDB)

Handle diverse data forms, including structured (SQL/data warehouse) and unstructured (JSON) data

Work with AWS services (IAM, S3, Cloud Trail, etc.)

Focus on Risk and Controls (especially SOX Financial Reporting) across multiple lines of business

Assess and validate large financial data sets (source and target) for human access control and financial reporting

Develop, validate, and standardize scripts, testing routines, and data processes

Create reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio

Demonstrate a risk management mindset and attention to data delivery and execution
