Greenpeace International is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Global Capital Campaign Director to join our team in a pivotal role, driving the successful delivery of a €100 million fundraising campaign that will build a new ship for Greenpeace, and scale our global campaigns for people and planet. The role involves leading and managing a global capital fundraising campaign, empowering collaboration across international teams, and ensuring financial management and transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate, and manage a global capital fundraising campaign, seeking to raise €100 million
Continuously monitor progress, proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, and support the financial management and transparent reporting of project expenditure to stakeholders and funders
Develop and nurture strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organisation, facilitating alignment and open communication to drive our collective success

Required

Significant experience in partnership or major gift fundraising, ideally with experience of capital campaigns and securing and stewarding leadership gifts
Extensive experience in leading project management across multiple, complex workstreams
Experience in budget management, financial monitoring, and reporting for global or large-scale projects, including ensuring compliance with restricted income requirements
Experience in engaging with and managing the expectations of a wide range of diverse, senior-level stakeholders
Demonstrable commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and ability to collaborate with cross-cultural teams
Fluent in English, both verbal and written, and preferably one other language
Digitally literate: able to work with digital tools and online systems; willing and able to learn new ones
Flexible approach to working with colleagues across multiple time zones and open to international travel
Support for and belief in the core aims and values of Greenpeace
